Privacy policy

What we process

• Account data: your name, email and billing details (payments are handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers).
• Student data you enter: name, level, goals and notes.
• Lesson audio from your microphone and the shared lesson tab, and the transcripts and feedback created from it.
• Technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Logs never contain passwords or session tokens.

Consent

Before each recording Makeizi asks you to confirm that everyone in the lesson knows the session is being processed. As the teacher, you are responsible for informing your students.

Retention and deletion

You choose how long lesson audio is kept (7, 30, 90 or 365 days) or whether it is stored at all after processing. You can delete a lesson, its audio, or a student and all their lessons at any time. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep billing records.

Your rights (LGPD / GDPR)

You can export all your data from Settings Recording & privacy, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact support@makeizi.com.

Processors

We use carefully chosen providers to run Makeizi: cloud hosting and storage, speech-to-text, an AI model provider for analysis, Stripe for payments and an email delivery service. They process data only to provide their service to us.
